About the game

Blueprints is a light dice-drafting game for 2-4 players who take on the role of architects building three structures from secret blueprints. Each round, players draft colored dice in turn and place them into their building, revealing the finished structure at the end to tally points and prizes. Over three rounds, players collect awards for their designs before a final scoring reveals the best architect. Its glass-like acrylic dice components make the whole experience feel a bit special.

Hobbli's Notes

Hobbli finds Blueprints to be a lovely, tactile filler that punches above its weight visually thanks to its colorful dice. The drafting puzzle of fitting the right dice into your blueprint is simple to grasp but has just enough tension to stay engaging. Three short rounds keep the whole experience brisk. It won't satisfy players looking for heavy long-term strategy, but as a quick, pretty filler it delivers.

What we like

  • Beautiful glass-like acrylic dice components elevate the presentation.
  • Quick 30-minute playtime fits any game night.
  • Simple drafting rules are easy to teach.
  • Blueprint scoring adds light strategic tension each round.

Keep in mind

  • Luck of the dice draw affects which options are available.
  • Three-round structure can feel repetitive after many plays.
  • Limited long-term strategic depth for experienced gamers.

Who it's for

Good for casual and family gamers aged 14+ (recommended) in groups of 2-4 who enjoy light drafting and pattern-building.
