About the game
Nimalia challenges players to design the best animal sanctuary over five quick rounds. Each round, players draft one of three cards and pass the rest, placing biome tiles that must connect to the growing 6x6 sanctuary grid. Randomized scoring objectives each game mean you'll constantly adjust your plans to maximize points. It's a light, colorful tile-drafting game about balancing habitats for a variety of cute animals.
Hobbli's Notes
Nimalia is a charming, approachable tile-layer with just enough puzzle-y tension in the drafting to keep engaged gamers happy while staying simple enough for newcomers. The changing objectives each game give it solid replay value without adding much complexity.
