About the game

Cascadia is a puzzly tile-laying game celebrating the wildlife and habitats of the Pacific Northwest. On each turn, you draft a paired habitat tile and wildlife token, placing the tile to grow your terrain and the token to fulfill randomly determined animal scoring goals. Balancing habitat contiguity against wildlife placement rules creates constant, satisfying tension. It's a relaxed, medium-light game for 1-4 players with a short playtime and enormous variability from its randomized scoring cards.

Hobbli's Notes

Cascadia earns its reputation as a modern gateway classic: easy to teach in a few minutes, yet full of clever tension between terrain-building and wildlife scoring. The variable scoring cards keep it feeling fresh long after dozens of plays.
