About the game

Harmonies invites players to build miniature landscapes stacked with colored terrain tokens and populate them with animal habitats. Each turn you draft a small set of tokens and place them on your personal board, aiming to satisfy the specific habitat needs of the animal cards you collect. Scoring rewards clever chaining, tall mountains, connected forests, adjacent rivers, making every placement a small puzzle. It's a light-to-medium abstract nature game for 1-4 players with gorgeous production and quick, replayable sessions.

Hobbli's Notes

Harmonies is one of the most satisfying puzzle-drafting games to come out recently: deceptively simple to teach, yet full of subtle scoring tension once the animal cards come into play. Its short playtime and calming nature theme make it an easy recommend for game nights that want something lighter after a heavier main course.

What we like

  • Quick to teach and quick to play at around 45 minutes.
  • Satisfying puzzle depth from a simple set of terrain and animal rules.
  • Gorgeous, calming art and component design.
  • Strong solo mode and low downtime make it flexible for any group.

Keep in mind

  • Limited direct player interaction beyond token drafting.
  • Can feel repetitive after many plays once optimal patterns are learned.

Who it's for

Perfect for families and casual gamers aged 8+ looking for a relaxed, puzzly tile game; works equally well solo or with up to 4 players.
