About the game
Calico is a relaxing tile-laying puzzle game about stitching together the coziest quilt for your cat. You'll select and place patch tiles to match colors and patterns, aiming to complete both button-worthy color groups and pattern combinations that attract cuddly cats to your quilt. Points come from buttons earned, cats attracted, and how well your quilt fulfills its unique design goal. It plays beautifully solo or with up to four players at a relaxed pace. Gorgeous art and a low-conflict puzzle make it an inviting, calming session.
Hobbli's Notes
Calico is a delightful puzzle game: the layered color and pattern goals give it more depth than it first appears, without ever feeling stressful. The cat and quilt theme is utterly charming and the artwork is some of the nicest in the genre. It leans solitaire in feel, so players looking for direct interaction may want something else. A wonderful choice for a relaxed, low-conflict game night.
