About the game

Warhammer: Diskwars is a fast-paced tabletop battle game for 2-4 players set amid the constant warfare of the Old World. Heroes and units are represented by disks that you flip end over end across the battlefield, positioning them to attack or overlap and pin enemy disks in place. Pinned disks can't activate and must fight at the end of the round, so careful maneuvering to trap your opponent's forces is key to victory. The Core Set includes everything needed to play, with terrain, objectives, command cards, and over sixty disks representing four Warhammer races.

Hobbli's Notes

The disk-flipping combat system is a genuinely inventive way to handle miniature battles without the overhead of a full wargame ruleset, and Diskwars deserves credit for making army-building approachable. It's a satisfying, tactile alternative for fans of the Warhammer setting who want faster games than a traditional tabletop wargame. A fun pick for wargame-curious groups looking for something a bit different.
