About the game
Memoir '44 recreates iconic World War II battles, from Omaha Beach to the Ardennes, on a modular hex battlefield populated with detailed miniature troops and vehicles. Players issue orders using Command cards that activate sections of the battlefield, then resolve combat with dice, aiming to eliminate enough enemy units or complete objectives to win the scenario. With over fifteen included battle scenarios and a huge range of expansions, it offers a highly accessible entry into historical wargaming.
Hobbli's Notes
Memoir '44 remains one of the most approachable wargames ever made, using simple card-driven mechanics to deliver real tactical decisions without a steep learning curve. The historical scenarios and gorgeous miniatures give it lasting appeal for both casual players and serious wargamers alike.
