About the game

Fury of Dracula (Second Edition) is an asymmetric hidden-movement game of Gothic adventure, pitting one player as Dracula against up to four Vampire hunters from Bram Stoker's classic novel. Dracula secretly travels across Europe using a deck of location cards, leaving behind encounters and events for the hunters to interpret, while he can shift into wolf or bat form or vanish into the mist. The hunters must track and destroy him using limited clues before he accumulates enough victory points to win. It's a tense, thematic cat-and-mouse experience for 2-5 players.

Hobbli's Notes

Fury of Dracula delivers a genuinely tense asymmetric hunt, with the hunters piecing together clues while Dracula slips through the shadows of Europe. The deduction is satisfying from the hunters' side, and playing Dracula himself is a thrilling exercise in cunning misdirection: though the long runtime and hunter downtime mean it's best saved for a group ready to commit.

What we like

  • Strong, tense asymmetric hidden-movement gameplay.
  • Rich Gothic horror theme drawn directly from Bram Stoker's novel.
  • Genuinely tense cat-and-mouse deduction for the hunter team.
  • High replayability thanks to varied Dracula strategies each game.

Keep in mind

  • A long playtime of up to three hours.
  • Hunter players can experience notable downtime.
  • Requires one player to commit fully to playing the solo antagonist.
