About the game
Star Trek: Captain's Chair is a head-to-head deckbuilding duel that puts you in command of an iconic captain from across Star Trek history. Each of the six captains, from Picard to Sela, wields a unique asymmetric deck themed to their personality and strategic strengths. You'll manage crew, ships, and away teams while racing your opponent through diplomacy, exploration, science, or conflict. With hundreds of thematic cards and six distinct decks to mix and match, every match plays out differently. It's a rich, replayable duel for two captains ready to take the chair.
Hobbli's Notes
This is exactly the kind of licensed deckbuilder that earns its theme instead of just wearing it: each captain genuinely feels different to pilot. It's a hefty, cerebral game for a two-player slot, closer to a strategic duel than a casual sci-fi romp. We especially like that diplomacy and science can win the day as often as combat. Just know going in that this is a serious sit-down game, not a light Star Trek novelty.
