About the game
Forbidden Jungle drops your team on a crash-landed jungle planet, tasking you with cooperatively searching abandoned ruins for an escape portal while fending off venomous creatures and collapsing locations. Action points and modular, shiftable tiles let players power up the portal together, with map reduction ramping up tension as the jungle closes in. Set collection and variable player powers give each team member a distinct role in the escape. Designed by Matt Leacock, it's a cooperative game for 2-5 players (including solo play) in about 45 minutes.
Hobbli's Notes
As one of Matt Leacock's escape-themed co-op designs, Forbidden Jungle brings his signature blend of mounting tension and tight teamwork, with tile-shifting adding a fresh spatial puzzle to the formula. It's an accessible, family-friendly co-op that still offers real decision-making for more experienced groups.
