About the game
Mind Space is a puzzle dice game where 1-5 players seek serenity by filling their personal Brain Board with polyomino-shaped emotions. Each round, five available emotion cards and five rolled dice determine which colored shapes can be added to the board. Over twelve rounds, players score for completed brain sections, public goals, and color-specific bonuses, while unfilled squares in the most incomplete section cost points. It's a light, colorful spatial puzzle with a calming psychological theme.
Hobbli's Notes
Mind Space stands out with its unusual mental-wellness theme layered over a satisfying polyomino-fitting puzzle. The dice-and-card combination gives just enough randomness to keep each round fresh without undermining the spatial planning at its core. At around 30 minutes and low complexity, it's approachable for a wide range of players. It's a nice choice for fans of tile-fitting puzzles looking for something with a gentler theme than most competitive games.
