About the game
Dice Throne: Season One ReRolled brings back the fast-paced hero dueling of the original Dice Throne in a remastered edition. This Battle 1 box pits the hard-hitting Barbarian against the nimble, arrow-slinging Moon Elf in 1v1 combat. Players roll a unique set of five hero dice to trigger attacks and abilities, then spend combat points on cards that grant upgrades, status effects, and dice manipulation. It's quick, tactile, and endlessly re-playable thanks to wildly different hero playstyles.
Hobbli's Notes
Dice Throne nails that satisfying feeling of rolling dice for big, cinematic attacks while still leaving real tactical choices in how you spend your combat points. The asymmetry between the Barbarian's brute-force smashing and the Moon Elf's precision ranged attacks makes for a genuinely different feel on each side of the table. Games move quickly, so it's easy to swap heroes and play again right away. A great entry point into the wider Dice Throne line of heroes.
What we like
- Distinct hero abilities make each side feel completely different to play.
- Fast dice-driven combat keeps rounds tense and exciting.
- Combat point cards add a meaningful layer of tactical choice.
- Low downtime and quick setup make replays effortless.
Keep in mind
- Limited to two heroes without additional Dice Throne expansions.
- Randomness from dice rolls may frustrate highly strategic players.
- Best experienced with more heroes from the wider Dice Throne line.
Who it's for
Great for two players ages 8+ who enjoy dice-driven combat duels with light deckbuilding-style card play.
