About the game
Remember Our Trip has players piecing together shared memories of a trip to Kyoto or Singapore by drafting image tokens and matching patterns on their personal boards. As token combinations click into recognizable buildings, you place them onto a shared map and score points, especially when your memories match those of your friends. Objective and photo memory cards add extra scoring opportunities. Designed by Daryl Chow and Saashi, it plays in about 30 minutes for 2-4 players.
Hobbli's Notes
We really enjoy the "aha" moment when scattered tokens suddenly resolve into a recognizable building on the shared map. The drafting and pattern-building puzzle is satisfying without being overly taxing, and the shared board adds a warm, nostalgic touch. It's a lovely thematic fit for anyone who enjoys travel memories. A pleasant middle-weight puzzle game for pattern-loving players.
What we like
- Satisfying pattern-building puzzle mechanics.
- Charming travel-memory theme with shared scoring.
- Multiple scoring paths via objectives and photo cards.
- Quick to play at around 30 minutes.
Keep in mind
- Abstract token patterns may not fully evoke the travel theme for all players.
- Limited direct player interaction beyond shared scoring.
- Losing image fragments to scattered thoughts can feel punishing for new players.
Who it's for
Suited for ages 10+ players who enjoy pattern-building and drafting puzzles; works well for 2-4 players in a relaxed setting.
