About the game
Warhammer Quest: Blackstone Fortress is a cooperative dungeon-crawl set within the vast, mysterious space station of the same name, deep in the Warhammer 40,000 universe. Players take on the roles of explorers delving into the Fortress's labyrinthine halls, balancing their strengths and skills to survive against hostile forces led by a fifth player or the game's automated system. Each expedition uncovers archeotech and secrets, and afterward explorers return to the port city of Precipice to rest and trade loot for useful resources. High-quality Citadel miniatures and a robust rules and background booklet set bring the setting vividly to life.
Hobbli's Notes
Hobbli's editorial team considers Blackstone Fortress one of the strongest entries in Games Workshop's dungeon-crawl lineage, thanks to its excellent solo and cooperative modes plus a genuine sense of narrative progression. The push-your-luck expedition structure, paired with the ability to rest and recover between runs, gives the campaign real pacing and stakes. With dozens of high quality miniatures included, it's also a strong value proposition for painters and collectors. We highly recommend it for cooperative dungeon-crawl fans, especially those already invested in the Warhammer 40k universe.
What we like

- High-quality Citadel miniatures add great collector value.

Keep in mind
- Long 180-minute playtime per session adds up over a campaign.
