About the game

Warhammer Quest: Silver Tower brings back the classic dungeon-crawl formula inside Games Workshop's Age of Sigmar setting, sending 2-4 champions into the ever-shifting, labyrinthine domain of a Gaunt Summoner of Tzeentch. Thirteen double-sided board tiles create thousands of possible dungeon layouts, ensuring no two adventures play out the same. Characters gain persistent experience and grow stronger across sessions, giving satisfying long-term progression on top of each mission's dice-driven combat and exploration. With detailed miniatures and modular storytelling, it delivers a classic cooperative fantasy adventure experience.

Hobbli's Notes

This is a genuine, nostalgic throwback to the original Warhammer Quest, wrapped in gorgeous modern miniatures. The random tile and event generation keep runs unpredictable, and the persistent character growth gives sessions a satisfying arc. It leans heavily into randomness though, a bad run of dice or event cards can sink an otherwise well-played mission, which purists of tighter tactical games may find frustrating.

What we like

  • Beautiful, highly detailed Games Workshop miniatures.
  • Thousands of dungeon layout combinations from modular tiles.
  • Persistent character progression across sessions.
  • Faithful, nostalgic revival of the classic dungeon-crawl formula.

Keep in mind

  • Heavy reliance on dice and card draws can feel swingy.
  • Long two-hour sessions require a real time commitment.
  • Miniature assembly and painting may be an extra barrier for some buyers.
