About the game

The Lost Expedition is a cooperative (or solo) card game inspired by the true story of explorer Percy Fawcett's disappearance in the Amazon. Players manage a small team's dwindling food, ammunition, and health as they choose paths through hidden jungle perils, trying to reach the end of the expedition alive. Hand management and careful path selection determine whether the group survives lethal encounters with the wilderness. It can be played solo, fully cooperatively, or in head-to-head teams racing to escape first. Its tense resource management and pick-your-path structure create a gripping survival narrative in a compact card game.

Hobbli's Notes

Hobbli's team finds The Lost Expedition a tense, atmospheric survival experience that punches well above its small card-game footprint. The resource-juggling of food, ammo, and health under mounting jungle threats creates genuine tension every turn. Its flexible player counts and modes (solo, co-op, competitive) give it excellent replay value. Some may find its punishing difficulty and randomness in early plays frustrating before strategies click.
