About the game
Pack & Stack has players racing to fill delivery trucks as efficiently as possible with randomly rolled dice goods of different sizes. Each round, players take face-down trucks, then reveal them simultaneously and scramble to grab the one best suited to their supply. Goods are then stacked within a truck's bed and height limits, with penalties for wasted space or leftover cargo. The lowest-scoring player each round gains bonus points, and the game continues until someone runs out. It's a real-time dexterity and puzzle game about efficient packing.
Hobbli's Notes
Pack & Stack combines a physical stacking puzzle with a real-time truck-grabbing scramble, making for a fun, slightly chaotic family game. Hobbli's team enjoys the tension of assessing trucks at a glance before diving into the stacking puzzle. At 45 minutes for up to 6 players, it's a solid choice for livelier family game nights. The dexterity element means it may not translate perfectly to every table, but it's a refreshing change from typical dice games.
