About the game
Corps of Discovery casts 1-4 players as members of the Lewis and Clark expedition, working together to explore uncharted lands and battle invasive monsters. Using logic and deduction, you'll hunt for resources hidden across modular maps to complete daily challenges and survive the journey. Two connected chapters, Fauna and Flora, each introduce new mechanisms and goals, keeping the adventure fresh. Ally with Sacajawea and indigenous guides as you press deeper into the wilderness.
Hobbli's Notes
We love how Corps of Discovery blends real exploration history with a fantastical monster-hunting twist. The deduction-driven resource hunting keeps every session feeling like a genuine puzzle rather than a memory exercise. Low downtime and solo support make it easy to get to the table, whether you're playing with a full crew or alone. The two-chapter structure gives it welcome replay value beyond a single campaign.
What we like
- Deep cooperative deduction that rewards logical thinking.
- Solo mode lets you enjoy the full experience alone.
- Modular map system keeps every playthrough different.
- Two distinct chapters add variety and new mechanisms.
Keep in mind
- Deduction-heavy gameplay may feel slow for groups wanting fast action.
- As a newer, niche title, community support and availability may be limited.
- Solo-friendly design may feel less social for larger groups.
Who it's for
Best for 1-4 players who enjoy cooperative exploration and deduction puzzles, roughly ages 14 and up; a great fit for regular game groups who like campaign-style co-ops.
