About the game
Everdell Farshore takes the beloved Everdell engine-building formula to a new coastal setting, where critter workers build up a prosperous city while sailing out to explore the ocean beyond. Through worker placement and card drafting, you construct buildings, recruit critters, and manage the ebb and flow of the tide as you balance building on land with venturing to sea. As a standalone entry in the Everdell universe, it doesn't require the original game to play. Its charming art and gentle theme make it an inviting entry point into the series.
Hobbli's Notes
Everdell Farshore keeps everything charming about the original Everdell, the woodland critters, the lush art, the satisfying tableau-building, while adding a fresh nautical twist with sailing and exploration. Hobbli's team finds it a great alternative entry point for newcomers who want the Everdell experience without needing prior expansions. Fans of the original will appreciate the new mechanisms while still feeling right at home.
