About the game

Joyride: Survival of the Fastest is a loud, chaotic racing game where you plan a route, push your luck around corners at speed, and slam into rivals to knock them off course. Each racer picks a car with unique abilities, then manipulates dice on a personal dashboard, choosing whether to lock in results or risk rerolling for more distance. Collected items let you fire rockets, drop oil slicks, or call in air strikes, while dashboard damage permanently limits your future options. It's a high-interaction, checkpoint-to-checkpoint race for two to four players.

Hobbli's Notes

This is pure chaotic fun: the push-your-luck dashboard dice and constant collisions make for a raucous racing experience, closer to a party brawl than a serious simulation.

What we like

  • High player interaction through direct collisions and sabotage.
  • Unique car abilities give each racer a distinct playstyle.
  • Push-your-luck dashboard dice add tense risk-reward decisions.
  • Double-sided modular board offers varied track layouts.

Keep in mind

  • Heavy collision-based interaction may frustrate players who dislike direct sabotage.
  • Permanent dashboard damage can snowball against unlucky players.
  • Relatively niche title with a smaller player community.

Who it's for

Well suited to families and casual groups, ages 8-14 and up, in groups of two to four who enjoy loud, high-interaction racing games.
