About the game
Unmatched: Houdini vs. The Genie adds two flamboyant new fighters to the Unmatched line: the legendary escape artist Harry Houdini and the wish-granting Genie of the Lamp. Each hero has a distinct deck of cards that captures their unique style and legend, driving movement, attacks, and special abilities across a battle map. Combat is resolved with card play rather than dice, rewarding tactical foresight over luck. As with all Unmatched sets, these heroes can be mixed with other boxes in the series for endless new match-ups.

Unmatched continues to be one of the sharpest asymmetric skirmish games available, and Houdini vs. The Genie is a fun, flavorful addition. The no-luck combat system means outplaying your opponent actually matters. At just twenty minutes a match, it's easy to fit in multiple rounds in one sitting.
