About the game
Unmatched: Redemption Row brings three Marvel heroes, Luke Cage, Ghost Rider, and Moon Knight, into the acclaimed Unmatched dueling system. Each character fights with a uniquely designed deck and their own miniature, so tactical movement and card-driven combat feel completely different from hero to hero. Matches are fast, no-luck affairs where reading your opponent matters more than dice. It combines easily with other Unmatched sets for bigger multi-hero brawls.
Hobbli's Notes
Hobbli's team loves how Unmatched keeps finding new ways to make asymmetric duels feel fresh, and this Marvel set is no exception. Ghost Rider's punishing chain attacks and Moon Knight's split personas give the box real tactical variety despite its small size. It's an easy pick for anyone building an Unmatched collection. On its own it's a great two-player night in under an hour.
What we like
- Three distinctly asymmetric heroes each with a unique play style.
- Combat resolution is skill-based with no dice luck.
- Fast setup and short 40-minute matches.
- Mixes seamlessly with other Unmatched sets for bigger games.
Keep in mind
- Only three characters limits variety within this box alone.
- Full four-player games require owning additional sets.
- Take-that style conflict may not suit players who dislike direct confrontation.
Who it's for
Great for two players who enjoy tactical, low-luck combat games; appeals to Marvel fans and existing Unmatched collectors ages 14 and up.
