About the game
Super-Skill Pinball: 4-Cade brings the feel of an arcade pinball hall to the tabletop with four uniquely themed tables and matching roll-and-write backglass scoresheets. Rolling a shared pair of dice, you choose one result to move your pinball toward bumpers, spinners, or targets, chasing high scores and bonus multipliers. Reaching the bottom level lets you flip the ball back up using one of your flippers' rolls. Each table - Carniball, Cyberhack, Dance Fever, and Dragon Slayer - has its own art style and special rules. Designed by Geoff Engelstein, it supports 1 to 4 players in about 30 minutes.
Hobbli's Notes
Super-Skill Pinball: 4-Cade does a wonderful job of translating the tactile fun of pinball into a roll-and-write format, and having four distinct tables adds real variety. The nostalgic arcade art and table-specific mechanics make each session feel a little different. It leans toward a solitaire-style experience even with multiple players, since everyone plays their own board, but that also makes it a great choice for solo play. A clever, fun pick-up-and-play title for pinball fans.
What we like
- Clever roll-and-write simulation of real pinball tables.
- Four unique tables each with distinct art and special rules.
- Quick 30-minute playtime ideal for solo or casual sessions.
- Nostalgic arcade theme appeals across a wide range of ages.
Keep in mind
- Largely a solitaire-style experience with limited direct interaction.
- Requires printed sheets or reusable components to track scores.
- Luck of the dice rolls drives much of the scoring.
Who it's for
Great for solo players and families (ages 8+) who enjoy nostalgic arcade themes and quick roll-and-write puzzles.
