About the game
Twilight Struggle: Red Sea is a two-player card-driven game set in 1974, when the overthrow of Ethiopia's Emperor Haile Selassie ignites a fresh chapter of Cold War rivalry in the Horn of Africa. Part of GMT's Lunchtime Series, it builds directly on the acclaimed Twilight Struggle system with a more focused scope and a much shorter playtime. Players jockey for regional influence using event and operations cards, and the deck is even compatible with the original Twilight Struggle. It's a great low-commitment way to experience the tension of card-driven Cold War strategy.
Hobbli's Notes
A smart, compact reimagining of the Twilight Struggle system that keeps the tension and decision-making of the original while trimming the playtime to something you can actually finish over lunch. A great entry point for players intimidated by the full game.
