Ardennes '44 puts players in command of the German or American forces during the historic Battle of the Bulge, from the initial breakthrough on December 16, 1944 to the fighting's conclusion ten days later. Designed by Mark Simonitch, the game uses a detailed order of battle and an accurate Ardennes map, with units following historical advance routes and defenders holding key positions like Bastogne and St. Vith. Special rules cover night turns, weather, air supply, tank destroyers, and airborne operations, giving both sides realistic strategic options.
