About the game
Paris: La Cité de la Lumière is a two-player abstract tile-placement game set during the 1889 Exposition Universelle, when electric streetlights first illuminated the city. Players place cobblestone tiles and then build atop their own color or shared spaces, trying to position buildings near as many streetlights as possible to win the admiration of Parisian pedestrians.
