About the game
Iron Helm is a solo dungeon-crawling card game where you play a veteran hero seeking one final big score before retirement. Using a draw-two-pick-one push-your-luck mechanic, you decide whether to resolve a revealed dungeon card or risk drawing blind, fighting foes, finding treasure, and unlocking plot cards along the way. You'll manage health and energy, upgrade your character with new skills and items, and ultimately face a dungeon boss to complete your run. Built on the same core system as the designer's earlier game Desolate, it delivers a tense, replayable solo adventure in a compact 45-minute package.
Hobbli's Notes
Iron Helm is a standout solo dungeon crawler - the draw-two-pick-one push-your-luck tension never gets old, and the character progression keeps runs feeling fresh. We appreciate that it's built specifically for solo play rather than being a multiplayer game with bolted-on solo rules. A great pick for solitaire gamers looking for a compact adventure.

- Push-your-luck draw-two-pick-one mechanic keeps each decision meaningful.
