About the game
Jaws recreates the classic thriller as an asymmetric hunt: one player controls the shark hunting swimmers off Amity Island while up to three others play Brody, Hooper, and Quint trying to track and stop it. The game unfolds in two acts across a double-sided board, first the island phase, then the climactic Orca boat showdown. Hidden movement keeps the shark's location a mystery as the human team races against time. It's a tense, thematic translation of the film into a hunt-and-hide board game.
Hobbli's Notes
Jaws nails the film's tension by making the shark player genuinely scary and elusive, especially in the Orca finale. The asymmetry means the shark player's experience is quite different from the humans', which some groups love and others find unbalanced. A strong pick for movie fans who enjoy hidden-movement hunts.
