About the game
Adventure Tactics: Domianne's Tower is a cooperative, encounter-based tactical combat game set in the fantasy kingdom of Astelia, where players must overthrow the ruthless Queen Domianne. Starting as one of five basic classes, players battle through a branching campaign, leveling up and unlocking over fifteen elite classes that add new actions, equipment, and abilities along the way. The game supports 1-5 players and blends dice-driven combat with campaign progression and scenario-based storytelling. Players choose their own path through the branching narrative on their way to the Tower of Greylock.
Hobbli's Notes
Hobbli's team likes the class-unlocking progression system in Domianne's Tower, which gives a real sense of growth as your team's capabilities expand across the campaign. The branching path structure adds welcome player agency to what's otherwise a fairly familiar cooperative dungeon-crawl formula. Solo play is well supported for those without a regular group. It's a solid pick for fans of tactical fantasy combat looking for a slightly lighter alternative to bigger campaign crawlers.
What we like
- Class-unlocking progression gives a satisfying sense of campaign growth.
- Branching campaign paths add meaningful player choice.
- Supports solo play as well as full five-player groups.
- Encounter-based structure keeps individual sessions manageable.
Keep in mind
- Campaign-driven format requires ongoing commitment across sessions.
- Dice-driven combat may introduce more randomness than some tactics fans prefer.
- Less well known, so it may be harder to find a group already familiar with it.
Who it's for
Good for fantasy and tactical combat fans ages 10+, playing cooperatively solo or in groups up to five.
