About the game
Chakra is a meditative abstract game where players fill the seven chakras on their personal board with colored gems representing flowing energy. On each turn, a player takes gems, spends inspiration tokens for stronger placements, or meditates to learn a chakra's hidden point value. The first to align five chakras triggers the final round before scoring. With a calming theme laid over an action-retrieval core, it offers light strategic tension in a short playtime.
Hobbli's Notes
Hobbli's team appreciates the unusual action-retrieval mechanism, which gives Chakra more bite than its serene theme suggests. Low downtime keeps the game brisk, and the solo mode is a nice extra. It's a fairly niche abstract title, so we're less certain how it compares to the wider field of similar games.
