About the game

Riichi Mahjong is the modern Japanese form of the classic Chinese tile game, refined since the 1920s and now recognized in official tournament rules worldwide. Players for four (or three) build hands from drawn and discarded tiles, aiming to complete a valid hand containing at least one Yaku scoring combination. Special elements like Dora bonus tiles and the Riichi declaration, betting points to unlock hidden bonus tiles, add extra layers of risk and reward. Scoring combines hand combinations, multipliers, and tile composition into a rich, highly refined point system.
