About the game

Wildlands is a fantasy skirmish miniatures game set in a lawless kingdom after the fall of a great evil, where rival factions battle for survival, treasure, and glory. Each faction wields a unique deck of cards governing their abilities, from ranged specialists to raw brawlers to characters bonded by loyalty. Designed by Martin Wallace, it's built to be approachable enough to dive into quickly while offering tactical nuance that rewards repeated plays. Everything needed to start battling is included in the box, making it a self-contained entry into fantasy miniatures combat.

Hobbli's Notes

Wildlands hits a nice sweet spot for skirmish games: simple enough to learn in one sitting, but with enough variable player powers to keep faction match-ups interesting. The card-driven combat avoids some of the fiddliness that bogs down other miniatures skirmish games. A great pick for groups wanting a self-contained, competitive miniatures experience without buying into a huge model line.
