About the game
5-Minute Dungeon is a frantic, real-time cooperative card game where 2-5 players have just five minutes to fight their way through a randomized dungeon. Each hero has unique special cards, and matching symbols to defeat monsters means fast talk and faster hands. There's no time to plan carefully: just react, communicate, and hope you time your cards right. As you progress, tougher bosses and harder dungeons push the team to its limit.
Hobbli's Notes
5-Minute Dungeon delivers pure, giddy chaos: the five-minute timer keeps everyone shouting over each other in the best way. It's an easy pick for groups who want something loud and cooperative without a rulebook to wade through. Just don't expect deep strategy; this is about speed and teamwork under pressure.
What we like
- Exciting real-time pressure keeps energy high throughout.
- Short 30-minute playtime with escalating difficulty.
- Wide variety of heroes with distinct special powers.
- Excellent cooperative game for groups who like to shout and strategize on the fly.
Keep in mind
- Chaos can overwhelm more methodical or quieter players.
- Limited long-term strategic depth.
- Requires a boisterous group to fully shine.
Who it's for
Great for families and casual groups (8+) of 2-5 who enjoy fast, loud, cooperative real-time games.
