About the game
Space Cadets is a frantic real-time cooperative game where 3-6 players take on the roles of a starship's Bridge Officers, each managing a unique station like Helm, Engineering, Weapons, Shields, or Sensors. Every station uses a different mini-game mechanism, from domino-based power routing to disc-flicking torpedo launches to poker-hand shield building, that players must complete simultaneously under time pressure. The Captain coordinates the crew and keeps everyone focused as missions unfold. Designed by the Engelstein family, it's a beloved dexterity-and-puzzle-driven co-op adventure for 3-6 players.
Hobbli's Notes
Space Cadets is a genuine party favorite for co-op fans: the mix of mini-games means every player has a wildly different job to master, and the real-time pressure creates the kind of chaotic, memorable moments that make for great retellings afterward. It shines brightest with a full table willing to embrace the silliness.
