About the game
Space Cadets: Dice Duel is a real-time team game of starship combat where two crews race to outmaneuver and destroy each other. Each player mans a station, Engineering, Helm, Weapons, Sensors, Shields, or Tractor Beams, performing frantic dice-based mini-games simultaneously with no fixed turn order. The action never pauses until one ship takes four points of damage. It's a hilarious, chaotic party experience that thrives on teamwork and panicked shouting.
Hobbli's Notes
Dice Duel is pure adrenaline: the real-time, all-hands-on-deck chaos makes it one of the loudest, most fun team games we've played. It genuinely needs a crowd willing to shout orders across the table, but for the right group it's an absolute riot every single time.
What we like
- Real-time simultaneous play creates thrilling chaos.
- Strong team-building through coordinated station roles.
- Fast rounds keep energy high throughout.
- Fun sci-fi theme with dice-based mini-games at each station.
Keep in mind
- Not suited to quiet or cerebral gaming nights.
- Requires a full table of at least four players to shine.
- Can be overwhelming for players who dislike real-time pressure.
Who it's for
Best for larger groups of 4-8 players age 10+ who love loud, real-time team chaos over quiet strategy.
