About the game

FUSE is a real-time cooperative dice game for one to five players racing to defuse more than twenty ticking bombs in just ten minutes. Each bomb card requires a specific combination of dice, and players must quickly draft and distribute rolled dice among the team before time runs out. With no turns and constant chatter under pressure, it's a frantic exercise in communication and quick thinking. The ten-minute timer keeps sessions short, tense, and endlessly replayable.

Hobbli's Notes

FUSE packs an enormous amount of tension into an extremely short playtime, making it one of the best quick cooperative games for groups that want a jolt of adrenaline. The dice-drafting-under-pressure format means chaos is part of the fun rather than a flaw. It's not a deep strategic experience, but it's hard to beat as a fast, high-energy warm-up or closer for a game night.

What we like

  • Real-time pressure creates constant excitement.
  • Very short playtime makes it easy to fit into any game night.
  • Solo mode works well for practicing alone.
  • Simple rules make it instantly teachable to new players.

Keep in mind

  • Real-time chaos can be stressful for players who prefer calm decision-making.
  • Limited strategic depth beyond dice allocation.
  • Loud, talkative play style isn't for everyone.
