About the game
Trains: Rising Sun is a standalone deck-building sequel that sends players racing to build the best rail network across Japan. It introduces all-new cards, three fresh boards (including two built specifically for two players), and Route Bonus Cards that reward being first to connect key stations. Players buy cards to strengthen their deck, then use them to lay track and expand their route network across the map. It mixes seamlessly with the original Trains for even more variety.
Hobbli's Notes
A snappy, well-designed deckbuilder that swaps Dominion's abstraction for a satisfying route-building puzzle. It's quick and replayable, though veteran deckbuilding fans may find the card pool a touch thin on its own.
