About the game

Lords of Xidit challenges 3-5 players to defend a fantasy kingdom from monstrous invaders by recruiting soldiers, reclaiming cities, and building influence across multiple areas of glory. Using simultaneous, hidden movement programming, all players secretly plan their routes each round before revealing and resolving them together. At game's end, influence is compared category by category, and the player with the least in each category is eliminated, forcing constant reassessment of your strategy. It's a tense, cutthroat race for glory where standing still means losing.

Hobbli's Notes

The elimination-based scoring is what makes Lords of Xidit stand out: instead of simply totaling points, you're fighting to avoid being last in category after category, which creates real tension right to the very end. Simultaneous programming keeps everyone engaged since there's no long downtime waiting for turns. It's best with a full table that enjoys area-influence tension and doesn't mind some cutthroat competitiveness.
