About the game
BANG! The Dice Game brings the wild west showdown of the classic Bang! card game into a fast dice-rolling format. Each player secretly takes on a hidden role, Sheriff and deputies, outlaws, or renegades, along with a character card granting a special power. On your turn, roll up to three times to shoot neighbors, heal, dodge Indian attacks, or trigger a Gatling burst that hits everyone at once. The Sheriff and deputies must eliminate the outlaws, the outlaws must kill the Sheriff, and renegades just want to be the last one standing. It's a quick, chaotic party game for 3-8 players.
Hobbli's Notes
This dice-rolling take on Bang! keeps the hidden-role tension of the original while speeding everything up considerably. It's loud, fast, and works great with a bigger group: perfect for when you want social deduction without a long rules explanation.
What we like
- Quick and easy to teach even to non-gamers.
- Hidden-role social deduction adds real tension to a simple dice game.
- Scales well with large groups of up to 8 players.
- Fast, chaotic dice-rolling action keeps energy high.
Keep in mind
- Player elimination can leave some participants waiting out the round.
- Outcomes lean heavily on dice luck rather than pure skill.
- Thematic depth is fairly light compared to the original card game.
Who it's for
Families and party groups ages 8 and up; shines best with a larger group of 5-8 players.
