About the game
Codex: Card-Time Strategy is a non-collectible customizable card game set in the Fantasy Strike universe, drawing inspiration from real-time strategy video games like StarCraft and Warcraft III. Each player commands three unique heroes and climbs a tech tree to unlock new strategies, building an army of units to ultimately destroy the opponent's base. The Deluxe Set bundles multiple factions, letting players mix and match compositions for varied matchups each game.
Hobbli's Notes
We admire how designer David Sirlin translates RTS-style base-building and tech progression into a card game without losing tactical depth. The variable faction combinations give it strong replayability for competitive players who enjoy deck construction between sessions. It's a dense, combo-heavy game best suited to players who already enjoy customizable card games and don't mind a learning curve.
