About the game

Strike is a quick, tense push-your-luck dice game played inside the game box itself, which doubles as a dice-throwing arena. On your turn, you toss another die into the arena, hoping it won't match the value of any die already there. If it does match, you must remove both dice and your turn ends. Otherwise, you can push your luck by throwing in another die or stop while you're ahead. The last player still holding dice wins, making for a fast, suspenseful game night filler.

Hobbli's Notes

Hobbli finds Strike to be a delightfully simple filler that captures real dexterity tension in a tiny package. The dual-luck-and-nerve mechanic of deciding whether to throw another die makes for great tabletalk and groans. It's light enough for kids yet tense enough to entertain adults as a quick warm-up or cooldown game. Just don't expect much strategic depth beyond risk assessment.

What we like

  • Extremely quick, tense push-your-luck gameplay.
  • Easy to teach to players of all ages.
  • Dexterity element adds fun physical unpredictability.
  • Great as a warm-up or filler game.

Keep in mind

  • Very light on strategic depth.
  • Limited long-term replay variety.
  • Physical dice-tossing may not suit all playing surfaces.

Who it's for

Great for families and casual groups (8+) wanting a fast, light push-your-luck filler for 2-5 players.
