About the game
BattleCON: Devastation of Indines is a standalone dueling card game where players control mighty heroes and villains in tactical head-to-head combat. Each of the thirty characters uses a distinct gameplay mechanism, from a guitar-playing summoner to tag-teaming werewolves, giving every matchup a fresh feel. Players move along a seven-space board, combining unique styles with shared basic cards to land attacks and outmaneuver opponents. It can be played solo or combined with BattleCON: War of Indines for an even larger character pool. Included BattleQUEST content adds solo and cooperative dungeon-style adventures against automated enemies.
Hobbli's Notes
BattleCON captures fighting-game depth in card form better than almost anything else on the market: every character genuinely plays differently, and the seven-space positioning adds real tactical bite. It's a niche title best appreciated by players willing to learn its systems deeply. The included BattleQUEST content is a nice bonus for solo and co-op fans.
What we like
- Deep, fighting-game-style tactical combat in card form.
- High skill ceiling and strong replayability across 30 characters.
- Includes solo and cooperative BattleQUEST content.
- Distinct playstyles keep every matchup feeling fresh.
Keep in mind
- Steep learning curve for new characters and interactions.
- Best experienced with dedicated 1v1 or small-group players.
- Abstract presentation may feel less immersive than themed alternatives.
