About the game
Earth Reborn is a tactical scenario game set five hundred years after nuclear disaster, pitting the militaristic NORAD faction against the occult Salemites in a series of nine escalating missions. Detailed miniatures, modular Tetris-like board tiles, and an icon-based rule system let you fight, sneak, and interrupt across labs, mansions, and ruined towns. Each scenario introduces new rules like a tutorial, building toward a full tactical skirmish experience. The included SAGS system also lets players generate their own maps and missions for endless replay.
Hobbli's Notes
An ambitious tactical skirmish game that teaches itself scenario by scenario, which makes its considerable complexity easier to swallow than most games this dense. The line-of-sight arcs and interrupt duels give it a distinctive tactical feel. It's a big investment of time and table space, so it rewards a dedicated group willing to work through the campaign together.
What we like
- Detailed miniatures and modular board create strong tactical variety.
- Scenario-based tutorial structure eases players into complex rules.
- SAGS system offers near-infinite replayability.
- Innovative interrupt and line-of-sight mechanics add depth.
Keep in mind
- Long playtime with significant setup effort.
- Steep learning curve even with the guided scenarios.
- Niche post-apocalyptic/occult theme may not appeal broadly.
