About the game
Zombicide is the original cooperative game that launched the series, casting 1-6 players as Survivors fighting through zombie-infested streets using unique skills and teamwork. Zombies are simple but deadly, governed by straightforward rules and a card deck, and the more of them you kill, the more skilled your Survivors become: but also the more zombies appear. Ten scenarios play out across modular map tiles, with more available online or homemade. It's a tense escalation of danger and character growth built for zombie-loving groups. Integrates with later seasons like Prison Outbreak and Rue Morgue.
Hobbli's Notes
Zombicide set the template for modern cooperative miniature combat, and it still holds up as a tense, satisfying survival experience. The escalating danger-versus-skill loop keeps every scenario feeling urgent. A great entry point if you want to see what started this whole series.
