About the game
Tide of Iron is a scenario-based WWII tactical miniatures wargame for two to four players, simulating combat between American and German forces in Northern Europe during 1944 and 1945. Twelve double-sided modular map tiles and dozens of terrain hexes let each scenario present a unique battlefield, populated with detailed plastic soldiers, vehicles, and heavy weapons. Players use action points, dice, and hand management to maneuver squads and call in support. It's a heavy, immersive tactical war game built for replay across many scenarios.
Hobbli's Notes
Hobbli's editors regard this as a strong entry for players who want the tactile satisfaction of miniature-based WWII combat without going full historical simulation. The modular terrain genuinely changes how each scenario plays out. It demands real table space and setup time, so it rewards a group with room to spread out. A rewarding choice for wargamers who love plastic and dice.
