About the game
River Dragons (originally Dragon Delta) is a simultaneous-action puzzle race where players build makeshift bridges of planks across a river to reach the other side first. Each round, players secretly choose and order five action cards to place foundations, lay planks, move pawns, or sabotage rivals, then reveal and resolve them together. The result is a chaotic tug-of-war over a constantly shifting bridge. Designed by Roberto Fraga, it supports 2-6 players in about 30 minutes.
Hobbli's Notes
We enjoy the delightful chaos of River Dragons, where careful planning collides with everyone else's equally careful (and conflicting) plans. It captures that classic "simultaneous selection gone wrong" energy that makes for great table laughter. It's light on strategy depth but big on unpredictable fun. A great family-friendly pick when you want lighthearted competitive chaos.
