Twilight Imperium: Third Edition is an epic empire-building game of interstellar conflict, trade, and political maneuvering for three to six players. TI3 is the gold standard for tabletop galactic conquest: nothing else quite captures the feeling of forging (and breaking) alliances over a marathon session. It demands a dedicated group, a full day, and patience for downtime between turns, but the payoff is a genuinely epic, story-generating experience. This is a game for your most devoted strategy-game friends, not a casual weeknight pick.
