About the game

Everdell Silverfrost takes the beloved city-building series south of the Spirecrest mountains into the challenging, snowbound country of Silverfrost. Players send critter workers to locations, cards, and the mountain to gather resources, then play cards to build their city while managing Fire to clear piling Snow and keep citizens warm. Each turn you place a worker, play a card, or prepare for the next season, unlocking new abilities and challenges as winter deepens. The player with the most points when the seasons end wins.

Hobbli's Notes

A gorgeous, mechanically fresh addition to the Everdell family that layers in a clever snow-and-fire resource system atop the beloved city-building core. It's a step up in complexity and length from the original Everdell, but fans of the series will find plenty of new combos to explore.

What we like

  • Stunning thematic production consistent with the Everdell series.
  • Fresh snow-clearing and fire-resource management adds new depth.
  • Rich card synergies and combos reward strategic planning.
  • Stands alone while remaining compatible with the wider series.

Keep in mind

  • Higher complexity and longer playtime than the original Everdell.
  • The added snow mechanic brings extra rules overhead.
  • Card variety can overwhelm players new to the series.

Who it's for
