About the game
Tea Garden casts players as tea garden owners in China's Yunnan region, expanding an empire of tea plantations along a river valley. You cultivate six grades of tea leaves, fermenting green leaves into valuable aged brown leaves, and use a deck of action cards to build new gardens, trade with caravans, and harvest more tea. Card strength determines how effectively you perform each action, with secondary actions letting you navigate the river or conduct tea studies at the university. It's a deck/resource-engine game wrapped in an evocative agricultural theme.
Hobbli's Notes
Tea Garden's tea-aging system, transforming green leaves into higher-value fermented leaves over time, gives it a distinctive economic engine feel that fits its theme nicely. The deck-building layer adds a satisfying long-term strategy element on top of the resource management. As a newer, less widely known release, some rules interactions and balance are still being explored by the community. It's a promising mid-to-heavy strategy title for economic-game fans.

- Attractive, calming agricultural theme.
Keep in mind
- As a newer release, less community consensus on strategy balance.
