About the game
Leaf casts players as the wind itself, guiding falling leaves down onto a modular forest board and connecting them to leaves already on the ground. Every leaf you place grants actions that let you attract woodland animals, grow mushrooms, help squirrels climb the great tree, and collect more cards and sun tokens. The modular board setup means the forest looks different every game, and multiple scoring paths reward different strategic approaches. The player who contributes the most to a thriving, healthy forest wins. It's a gentle, nature-themed tile-placement game with a surprising amount of strategic texture.
Hobbli's Notes
Leaf's nature theme and gorgeous artwork make it an easy sell at the table, and the tile-placement puzzle has enough depth to reward repeat plays. We particularly like that it scales smoothly from solo to four players without losing its charm. It sits comfortably alongside other nature-themed favorites as a relaxing but meaty choice.
